Are pets allowed?
Family Pets are not allowed. Service animals are permitted and support animals with the proper identification are permitted.
If you plan to bring an emotional support animal with you during your visit, we kindly request that you provide the necessary paperwork verifying the animal’s status. This documentation will help us ensure that your companion receives the appropriate allowances during your stay. Please be advised that there is a one-time animal cleaning fee of $150 plus HST for guests that bring pets into the hotel. This fee covers the additional care required to maintain the cleanliness of our accommodations and common areas. We value your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our policies, which enable us to create a welcoming environment for every guest. There is no animal cleaning fee for service animals. There is no animal cleaning fee for support animals that provide the required paperwork.
How far is the Hotel from town?
GBH is located a short 2 minute drive to shops and restaurants in Collingwood, 5 Minutes to Scandinave Spa, and 7 minutes to the Village at Blue Mountain
Do we need a car to get around?
A car is recommended for conviencence. Public Transportation is located directly in front of the Hotel and provides regular access to Downtown Collingwood & Blue Mountain Village.
What is the cancellation policy? / How do I change or cancel my reservation?
72 hours prior to your stay you may contact the reservations department to cancel or change your reservation, depending on the type of reservation booked, unless it is a non-refundable rate. Non-refundable rates cannot be changed or altered once booked. Our non-refundable rates are offered through our Website Reservations, Expedia or Booking.com, and most OTA sites. *If you have booked through any third party booking site, (such Expedia, Booking.com, etc.) you must contact the third party booking site first. They will send us your cancellation information.

Must I use a valid credit card to make a reservation? Is a deposit required?
Yes a valid credit card is required to make a reservation and a security / incidentals hold on a valid credit card is required at check-in.
What are your check-in and check-out times? Is there a fee for late check out?
Check-in at 4pm & Check-out at 11am. Late Check-out & Early Check-in times may be available but are not guaranteed. Fees may apply.
Can I use another party’s authorized credit card to pay for my room?

Are your rooms non-smoking?
GBH is a 100% SMOKE & VAPE FREE HOTEL. All indoor areas of the hotel, including the hotel rooms + hallways, balconies, terraces are non-smoking, no exceptions. A $250 smoking fine will be processed against your room bill should we detect traces of smoking of any kind (including recreational + medicinal drugs) in your room after checking out. Smoking and Vaping is also prohibited within a 20 meter radius of our Children’s Playground
When / how will I receive a booking confirmation?
GBH will send a mobile friendly email confirmation after booking with us online or by phone.
What amenities do you have in your Hotel?
We have an on-site Spa and Restaurant. The hotel has an outdoor and an indoor pool, fitness center, tennis court, children’s playground, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and more….

We also offer Complimentary Equipment rentals including: Bike Rentals, Snow Shoe Rentals and Tennis Rentals. Seasonal Sports Equipment Available to Use: Shuffleboard Court, Horseshoe Pit, Basketball Nets, Hockey Nets, Bocce Ball
Resort Fee
A daily resort fee of $7.50 plus applicable taxes will be applied for each night of your stay.  The resort fee helps us maintain and enhance our amenities and services, ensuring that your experience with us is nothing short of exceptional. Here’s what the resort fee includes:
