BOARDROOM

The Boardroom is a flexible space for focused meetings and discussions, featuring board-style or conference-style layouts for small groups of up to 12, complete with a large TV and full video conferencing capabilities.

We hosted our company Christmas party at Georgian Bay Hotel and it was, hands down, one of the most seamless events we’ve put together - depsite all the outrageous requests and excursions! 🙂 From day one, the GBH team made planning feel easy. Everything was clear, organized, and genuinely collaborative, ie not just a venue “checking boxes,” but a group of people who really cared about getting it right. As far as shout-outs go, I've got a couple I want to share: Jamie was phenomenal on the operations and logistics side. She set clear checkpoints, kept everything moving, and somehow managed to be three steps ahead at all times. And on the F&B (Gustav's) side, Rachael was just as incredible in her own way. While Jamie was steering the ship, Rachael was on the ground making sure every detail actually happened. She was present, attentive, and quietly ensuring everything ran exactly as planned. Working with these two felt like we were completely on the same wavelength, to the point where it genuinely felt like I was working with two other versions of myself (lol!). The food was a standout too! Not only was it delicious, but Chef Jesse built a custom 11-course menu tailored exactly to what we wanted, including all of our “must-haves” (even the more out-of-the-box ones). We had so many compliments from our team and my world-travelling CEO. The full banquets team (servers, bartenders, leads!) also deserves a major shoutout. Watching them prep for service and then execute it so smoothly was seriously impressive. Everything felt calm, coordinated, and completely under control. Even when we had last-minute tweaks or updates, they handled it all with ease. On top of all that, every staff member we encountered throughout the hotel (from front desk to cleaning and maintenance) was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. It added to the overall experience in such a noticeable way. Always accommodating, always helpful, and always with a smile. It made a huge difference in keeping the entire experience stress-free. When everything came together, it showed. Every detail had been thought through, the flow of the evening felt effortless, and we were actually able to enjoy the event instead of managing it. What really stuck with me was how genuine it all felt. There’s a warmth and pride behind what they do that you can’t fake, and it made the entire experience that much better. Would absolutely host another event here without hesitation if the opportunity presented itself and cannot recommend them enough! Standing ovation! Thank you all. Lorelei Daley
